Bacterial Leaf Spot

• Dark brown to black spots or large necrotic areas with yellowish margins
• Lesions spread and increase rapidly
Epidemiology:
• Favored by cool to warm temperatures (50-77° F)
• Wet conditions
• Spread as aerosol in wind-driven rain or overhead irrigation
Control:
• Control overhead irrigation to minimize leaf wetness
• Increase air circulation by reducing stand
